This is definitely an amazing place friends tried Tutmari and I simply fell in love with shrimp scampi it's the right portion and tastes amazing!!
Chicken Marsala is too sweet friend couldn't eat it, our server was great and offered to change it or take it off the bill.
Pros: amazing food!
Cons: wait is over an hour!! -

A quiet Italian place for Italian lovers.
Ordered the 'Buffalo Chicken Pizza' which was really good with red onions , cheddar & mozzarella cheese and tender buffalo chicken spread real well.
The complimentary bread was hard and even the oil spread could have been better. -

I would like to give my review in 3 parts: restaurant culture, food, and service.
Starting with the ambiance, I felt that this place was very welcoming. Although the wait time was outrageous, we made reservations and were sat right away. The bar area is very open and gives a sense of warmth. The decor throughout the restaurant was very elegant. This is where my review takes a turn...
The food was lacking sauce, flavor, and proper cooking temp. While each dish was plated beautifully, that may have been the only thing going for the food. The kitchen may have been slammed, but knowing how to properly cook a steak is taught in day one of training in a kitchen. My fiance's steak was well over done when the requested temp was medium rare. The beef spedini was bland, chewy, and sauce-less. The side pasta dishes were lacking sauce and overall flavor. The Alfredo sauce was either missing, or bland and "hiding."
Speaking of hiding, the wait staff seemed to be playing a game of hide and seek except they forgot to tell me they were playing. Twenty minutes for a beer and glass of wine order. Thirty minutes to get our salads. And another twenty five to get our entrees, well one of our entrees. After waiting another ten minutes, our second entree arrived at our table. The waitress did seem empathetic towards the mistakenly cooked steak, which we appreciated. However, it is tough to give this restaurant more than two stars due to the above criteria. -

This is a five star joint on the Hill, the Italian neighborhood of St. Louis. The restaurant is perfect for a large party, we've fit the whole family here for special occasions. My usual is the salmon, but on my most recent trip I couldn't resist the carbs! Beef tortellini it was!
Also, if you're looking to try toasted ravioli, a dish unique to St. Louis and made first on the Hill, this place makes one of the best! -

Excellente! Awesome spot for that Italian craving! They have a pretty good buffalo chicken sandwich I got. Very big portion and very filling. Will try the pasta next time. Which pasta should I get? @hybrideater
